Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps in Estonia Q4 2023

In the fourth quarter of 2023, Estonia saw noteworthy trends in the performance of its top navigation and maps applications. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at weekly downloads and revenue for these apps.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a fluctuating download trend throughout Q4. Downloads started at approximately 1.6K in late September and saw a gradual decrease to around 810 in early December. However, there was a notable recovery towards the end of the quarter, peaking at roughly 1.2K in the last week of December.

Google Maps experienced relatively stable download numbers. Starting at around 947 downloads in late September, the app saw a small peak of 1K in mid-October. Downloads dipped to about 720 in mid-November but rebounded to nearly 1K by the end of December.

Google Earth maintained a steady download rate, starting at 209 in late September and ending the quarter with 188 downloads in the last week of December. The app saw minor fluctuations but generally stayed within the 150-250 download range.

Yandex Maps & Navigator showed a mixed trend in downloads. Beginning the quarter at 136 downloads, the app saw a peak of 252 in mid-December and ended the quarter with 279 downloads. Revenue for the app varied slightly, with peaks of $6 in the last weeks of October and December.

MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav had a modest download performance, starting at 124 in late September and ending with 66 downloads in the final week of December. Revenue for the app showed variability, peaking at $179 in early October and maintaining smaller fluctuations throughout the quarter.
